Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to paid LayoverTips subscriptions sold by Crew Trips LLC through layover.tips.

It does not apply to purchases made from third-party providers through affiliate links.

1. Cancel Anytime

You may cancel your LayoverTips subscription anytime.

When signed in, open Account and follow the cancellation option in your member account. If you cannot access your account or need help cancelling, email support@layover.tips with the subject line CANCEL. We will acknowledge email cancellation requests within one business day.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access through that period. Your subscription will not renew after cancellation is processed.

2. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with LayoverTips within seven days of your first paid subscription charge, email support@layover.tips with the subject line REFUND REQUEST. Approved refunds are processed in Stripe to the original payment method.

The guarantee applies once per customer, payment method, and email address. Customers who have already received a 7-day refund are not eligible for another 7-day guarantee on a later subscription, although they may still cancel anytime.

We may deny refund requests where we detect fraud or abuse, such as repeated subscribe-download-refund cycles.

We process approved refunds in Stripe within five business days. Stripe, your bank, or your card issuer may take additional time to post the refund.

3. Refunds After the 7-Day Window

After the 7-day guarantee window, refunds are available only for:

  • duplicate charges caused by a technical error on our side;
  • charges after confirmed cancellation, if cancellation was completed before renewal;
  • statutory rights that apply in your jurisdiction.

To request a refund, email support@layover.tips with the subject line REFUND REQUEST within 30 days of the charge. Include the charge date, account email, and a short description of the issue.

4. Statutory Rights

Some jurisdictions grant consumer rights that override or supplement this policy. We honor those rights where they apply.

For EU and UK digital-content purchases, your legal withdrawal rights may be affected once you request immediate access to paid digital content. This policy does not limit any non-waivable statutory rights.

5. Affiliate Purchases

LayoverTips guides may link to third-party products and services, such as eSIMs, bookings, tours, restaurants, transportation, apps, insurance, or gear.

Purchases through third-party links are not LayoverTips subscriptions and are not covered by this policy. Refunds, cancellations, exchanges, credits, and customer service for those purchases are handled by the third-party provider under its own terms.

6. Chargebacks

Please email support@layover.tips before initiating a chargeback. We can usually resolve billing issues faster than the card-network dispute process.

If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first, we may suspend access while the dispute is pending, cancel the subscription, provide documentation to the payment processor, and decline future refund guarantees where permitted by law.

7. Promotions, Trials, and Annual Plans

Promotional offers, discount codes, free trials, annual plans, family plans, or other special offers may have specific refund terms shown at checkout.

Unless stated otherwise at checkout:

  • discount-code refunds apply to the discounted amount actually paid;
  • free-trial customers must cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged;
  • annual-plan refunds follow the 7-day guarantee from the date of charge, with no pro-rata refund after that window unless required by law.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be emailed at least 30 days before they take effect where practical. Subscription charges already made are governed by the refund terms in effect at the time of the charge unless law requires otherwise.
